This week was a tough week.  I made all my workouts which was an accomplishment.  I had to come in early on Wednesday because my daughter wasn’t feeling well and I needed to help babysit most everyday this week with my three sweet grandchildren 4 years, 2 years, and 3 months.  Normally, this would have been no problem but my apartment flooded from the unit above me.  So I had like two hours sleep and not a lot of sleep all the other nights.  I was so tired. Stressed and didn’t eat a lot.

Well, Dr. Paul was correct you have to eat ( good whole foods ) to lose.  Only .4 pounds this week!  Not even half a pound!

So I ended up crying at the gym, like a baby.  Much more from being tired than the low weight loss.  I couldn’t imagine working out much but I made it and hopefully that will be a good thing.  So I am resting this weekend and gearing up for another week in my Life Call Challenge.  Covet your prayers.

This week was a great week with one exception I think my body was trying to get sick.  I say trying because with Dr. Baker’s adjustments and Matt at BEAT Personal Training lightening up on my exercises a little helped me fight it off.

I still had fairly hard workouts just not as hard as usual.  I also slept a lot the first 2 days I felt run down.

Thank the Lord, so far my body is battling it off.  Week ten and another two pounds off.  That makes 33 pounds gone forever!

Thanks, Baker Chiropractic and BEAT for being there along side to help heal my body.

This week was a good week.  My workouts at BEAT have been increasingly more difficult but have been able to keep up with icing and anti-inflammatory medication.

I lost 2.5 more pounds this week for a total of 31.7 pounds lost forever!

Great start to the New Year of 2012.  Praise the Lord!

Holidays are for family and yes, sometimes food. Sharing holiday meals with family is part of the holidays. But food is not the main focus and enjoyment for the holidays,  family and friends are.

This Holiday Season, I found that I enjoyed my family and friends more than I have in the past.  This is one change that was unexpected and I never could imagine would be so rewarding. In my family, the emphasis has always been on special meals during the holidays.

My trainer, Matt, was there with his support in my workouts.  Dr. Baker gave me great support as well in my eating plan.  Thank you, Lord, for giving me the energy and health to keep up with my workouts.  Life Call (my new Baker Chiropractic way of life) is a blessing I didn’t think I would ever experience.

Christmas Week I lost 1 pound and New Years week I lost 3 more pounds!  That’s 4 pounds total gone forever!

In the past ,  I would have gained 4 pounds during the Holidays instead of losing it!

This was a great Holiday Season!
